This is the first in our series of tutorials that are meant for the novice developer as Angular 7 tutorials for beginners. If you are advanced in Angular programming though, not to worry. In future videos we will delve into Angular Material designing of complex screens. We'll eventually get into security and start building systems that manage users and roles. In the process we'll learn how to build security backend systems that use encrypted tokens and password passed back and forth from the back end.

For now though. We begin with the basic. We'll install a new simple vanilla Angular application to manage a set of users. We'll call it 'user' from now on. We'll be using Angular CLI for our exercise today. We'll first display the user application to prove the installation was successful. We'll then install Angular Material Design into the user application. We'll display Angular Material Design Mattoolbar as a proof of concept. This installed toolbar will look a lot like the toolbar on the Angular Material Design official website.
