This video is about Cursor size adjustment, Navigation Toolbar and Selection windows in details.
Cursor has two parts, the middle box is called pick box and it used for selection and another part is cross which also called as cross hair. To increases the size of cursor use option command and in that use cross hair size it will help to adjust the size of cursor. And next click on selection and adjust pick box size and select ok. That's it, it will increases the size of cursor.
You can navigate your drawing using your middle mouse wheel. If you move your cursor to any point and rotate your mouse wheel it will zoom in your drawing and opposite direction it will zoom out your drawing. Same thing also done by pressing z command or using zoom in or zoom out icon from navigation panel. And one another option is orbit which is used in 3D drawing.
Now about selection to select anything in your drawing, all you want to just click on it and that object will selected, and to deselect anything press escape key, and it will deselect your selection. But if you have lot of objects in your drawing, and if you want to make that selection, then you use the windows. So click at point and let go your cursor, then move your mouse to the right and then you get this window, this solid window is called selection window and anything which is completely inside this window, will be selected. And second window is crossing window, and for this, click and let go your cursor, don’t click and hold it your cursor, just click and let go, now move your mouse to the left and you can get this dashed window which is also called a crossing window. In this case any object which even touches the boundary of this crossing window, will be selected. Then we have third kind of selection set which is called a lasso selection. So press and hold you’re left click, and now move your mouse and you gone get this kind of lasso selection. So if you press and hold, you gone get lasso selection. If you press left key and let go, you get window selection.
