DD-WRT Repeater Bridge Tutorial

In this tutorial, I'll show you how to set up a router that's flashed with the DD-WRT firmware to act like wireless repeater bridge.
Basically a bridge lets you connect Non Wi-Fi devices to your Wireless Network.

These are text Instructions
1. Make sure that your soon-to-be bridge is flashed with the DD-WRT firmware.

2. Get all the required Information from your Main Router.
2A IP Address and Subnet Mask of Main Router
2B SSID, Encryption Settings, Broadcast Status, and Wireless Mode

3. Log into your DD-WRT router, IP Address is usually 192.168.1.1 and do a factory default reset Administration Factory Defaults

4. Go to Setup
4A Disable Connection Type
4B Change Local IP Address to something similar to your Main Router's IP i.e. if your Main Routers IP is 192.168.1.1, change the Bridge's IP to 192.168.2.1 to prevent IP Conflicts
4C Optional Check the "Assign WAN Port to Switch" to get an extra Ethernet Port
4D Change DHCP Server to Forwarder and type in IP of Main Router
4E Press "Save Settings", don't press "Apply Settings" yet

5. Go to Wireless
5A Go to Wireless Mode and change from "AP" to "Repeater Bridge
5B Change Wireless Network Mode to reflect your Wi-Fi network, usually "Mixed" should be fine
5C On "Wireless Network Name SSID" type in your Wi-Fi Network's name.
5D Press "Save"
5E Go to "Wireless Security"
5F Change "Security Mode" from "Disabled" to whatever encryption your Wi-Fi Network uses.
5G Input proper algorithms and shared keys.
5H Press "Save"
6. Go to the "Security" Tab
6A Un-check every thing
6B Press "Save"
6C Then Press "Apply Settings"

7. Your Bridge should reboot, give it a few seconds and then attempt to load up a site on your web browser.

8. If everything is correctly configured, you should get an IP Address from your Main Router, NOT from your Bridge.
