Week 41: I start learning Wordpress

I'm excited to share with you this experience of being a reseller on Amazon. One knows how it starts, but not how it ends, so let's find out together!

Okay, guys, so this week, it'sbeen intense in terms of news.So last week I received the quote from the designer,from the graphic designer to do the designing of thenine products that will be launched in the US.The and that he's been workingon for the last three months.Yeah, three months.It was €2100, similar in dollars,which I paid like, immediately, fiveminutes later after receiving the quote.So, like, not dealing, not negotiating.You worked well.This is what you want. This is what you have.There you go.Here's your money.And I think the guy was quite impressed because I'm notpushing him in terms of timing, in terms of budget.The guy, I've been giving him instructions quite clear.I give him documents with what I want, more orless in terms of the logic of the product.And the guy, he works thereand he takes the big decisions.So I'm giving him a lot of room to be creativeand to express himself without any kind of bonds or pressure.Definitely not in terms of timing, evenif I'd like to launch a product.But I'm giving him room enough.So anyways, I paid him.And the guy, he went on reviewing allthe products, and he started improving all thedesigns to reach a superior level.All the designs that he sent me, which arelike a ton, because for the nine products, eachproduct has like eight different designs in it.So it's a huge amount of work.It's definitely been three months thathe spent working on that.So anyways, think is he started he got kindof a rush of motivation and he went toa different level, a higher level of graphic design.So he sent me some updates on that.And it does look, like, amazing, the product.It looks super cool.So, yeah, I like the relation we have where it'slike, I totally trust his artistic criteria and it's like,express yourself, and I will back you up in anyway that you need, maybe in time or in money.Don't feel like, okay, if we set this kind ofamount of money, you have to work until then.If you want to work more, then I will pay you more.So, yeah, he's now reviewing again all the products.So it's taking like, forever to deliver onthese designs we'll see in better work.I'm pretty sure that once it's designed and launched inthe market after production, I'm pretty sure that if itworks, it's going to be very easy to copy.The designs are very characteristic of the brand.Like, there's several things thatmake it kind of unique.Well make it easy to identify from the outside.So that's a good thing.But I'm pretty sure that if it works, it'sgoing to be very easy to copy anyways.So, yeah, that means more timefor the delivery of that.And we haven't even started with the packaging.So anyways, let's take as much time as needed, aslong as we get to a very good output.Maybe not perfect, but a very good one.So that's on the one side.On the other side, I was like, I don't knowwhy I started realizing that I need to improve.I need to be able to be familiar with WordPress.If I'm going to open the WooCommerce website foronline sales, I cannot rely 100% on third party.I need to be more or less familiar to dothe basics, like to improve an item, the pricing, thedescription, I don't know, that kind of stuff.I need to be able to do itand even possibly manage it all by myself.That would be ideal, but I never really did myself.So I went on to the WordPress website.I saw they have these free courses to trainpeople who are willing to learn the tool.And yeah, I've been thinking a lot about it andI started and the way it works is it asksyou to create directly a website with a host anda domain and to practice with that.Like not a fake one, but I'm not going to startwith my own, with the main one to practice, because there'salready a website, even if it's a static one.So I've just created like a fake kindof brand, which is for I'm going toexercise with a brand of candies, I've decided.So that way I'll be able to create a store,an online store with categories like Salty stuff and sugarstuff, sweet and salty, and put categories, update, update theitems, the descriptions and all of that.And I'll do it with already existingproducts, not with my own brand.So that's going to be very easy topractice because all the production part is outof the equation in that practice.So I'm going to do that.And I'm super motivated to learn about WordPress andto develop an exercising website just to see whatI can do with that, the potential of that.So super motivated.Let's see how it goes.
