Newspaper - Android Homescreen Tutorial

Part 1: Apex Launcher settings

Firstly go into Home Screen settings :
- Portrait grid 9x7
- Horizontal margin: None
- Vertical margin: None
- Wallpaper mode: multiple screen (scrolling) (Very important, won't work otherwise)
- Hide notification bar: check on
- Hide icon labels: check on

Followed by going into Dock settings :
Hide dock

Part 2: Setting up MultiPicture Live Wallpaper

Start off at your homescreen, hold down and select: "Wallpaper", then "Live wallpapers" and then "MultiPicture Live Wallpaper". Follow this by selecting settings:

To add screens, select "Add individual settings", this will allow you to configure each screen that you add individually, which is good.

***If you have problems here with too many screens, go into your System Settings, Apps, look for MultiPicture Live Wallpaper then go into it and select "Clear Data".

As far as I know this is the simplest way, besides uninstalling the app, which is quite a hassle. If you know an easier way please let me know...

Now you have to select and choose the following:
- Screen 1 settings - Picture source - single picture - find home wallpaper
- Screen 2 settings - Picture source - single picture - find web wallpaper

Part 3: Adding the blank icons

Method 1: Hold and drag the selected app to the desktop. Now hold that selected icon and change the icon picture to the blank.png provided in the link above.
Method 2: Using Desktop Visualizer, hold down on the homescreen, select Widget, Desktop VisualizeR, any size will do. This is followed by changing to the desired app as well as changing the icon to the blank png provided.

Part 4: Adding the Weather Icon

Fancy Widget - Appearance settings:
- (before that you need to download fancy widgets unlocker) weather skin, all, Vos-Carved Weather, back to installed: check on
- widget background transparency: 0, then OK

Go to the desktop, menu, add, widgets, fancy widgets, 1x1 size, select a second widget style, select, resize to the size as seen in the video
