Quick Sections is a compact and powerful utility to generate sections instantly within CAD from the data available within CAD or from a CSV file. Generate Area and Volume reports depending on created cross-sections.

This module contains a set of tools to prepare the cross-sections and longitudinal sections along with a template to extract the quantities. And the beauty of this software is all this can be done within CAD Package alone, with minimal training.

With Quick Sections, you can

Draw lines representing sections and rebuild the section with detailing
Generate Cross Section drawings by referring to spot levels representing Cross sections along an alignment
Generate Longitudinal section drawing by referring to spot levels representing the Longitudinal Section
Convert 3D Polyline as section
Modify a generated LS & CS and export the modified values back as spot levels.
Create Cross Section and Longitudinal Section from CSV
Interpolate section data while creating sections
Insert Blocks in each cross-section referring to FRL from Longitudinal Section line
Export section data to the excel
Generate Area and Volume Reports
You can generate Cross Sections or Longitudinal Sections in the following easy steps.

1. Select the base map with levels and alignment and open it in the CAD package.

2. Select the alignment with a customized tool to plot the existing cross-sections or Longitudinal sections at required intervals.

3. Create a template with pre-defined layers in the CAD package as the proposed cross-section

4. Apply this proposed cross-section on to the existing cross-sections as already plotted.

5. Recreate the complete cross-sections with the proposals.

6. Based on the predefined layers, the areas of cut and fill are evaluated and printed.

7. You can export the extracted values to excel file for further processing.

In the same way, you can work with Longitudinal Sections and generate Area and Volume Reports
