Chapter 14 - Using JavaScript (Hindi)

This course is designed for people who want to learn how to use the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) to create Web pages that can be viewed using any standard Web browser. In this course you will learn to use the HTML authoring language to create multimedia Web pages that incorporate text, graphics and images. You will also learn to incorporate links to other pages on the Web. You will learn about various HTML elements that are available and how to structure your documents, specify formatting for text and add character styles. You will learn to add list structure to your document and to use the Horizontal rule to create sections within your document. You will learn to enhance your document by adding formatting specifications for body text colors, as well as to specify background color and add background images. You will also learn to include meta-information in your Web pages that can be used by the indexing or cataloging programs, Web robots or other programs. This course also focuses on the advanced features of the Hypertext Markup Language. You will learn to construct tables, specify borders and border widths for the tables and specify various formatting options for rows, columns and cells. You will also learn about HTML forms and how to construct forms using graphical user interface objects. You will learn to create a basic form with text area fields, radio buttons and checkboxes. You will also learn to add images and animated GIFs images to your HTML documents. You will also learn about Image Maps and how to create them. You will also be introduced to the history of java and understand the differences between Java and JavaScript. You will also learn to use Java applets and other objects in your HTML documents. This course also teaches you how to check for the validity of your HTML code. You will also be introduced usability issues and how to perform surveys and analysis. Finally you will also learn about the importance of planning Web sites, storyboarding and methods for designing Web sites. This course introduces some of the advanced features of the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). You will learn to implement frames in your HTML documents and learn how to target content for display in specific frames. You will also learn to create pages that do not support frames. You will learn about the new elements included in HTML 4.0 standard. You will learn about new document and body elements, table, form and frame elements and the new Object element. In this course you will also learn about Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), how to write style definitions and include these styles as part of your page and Web design. You will also learn about Java and JavaScript, and how to implement JavaScript in your HTML documents. This course also introduces you to Dynamic HTML (DHTML). You will learn about Document Object Models (DOM).
