Tyrian 2000 - Extra Level - "Ale"

Bonus level at the end of Episode 1, only in the Full Game.

It's actually quite difficult. I played it a lot, however, beat the creator's high score, and learned to use the mouse, only for the purpose of playing this level better. This was in the time I only had the shareware version.

You can't win this level ; it just loops, with enemies becoming stronger and stronger. I only showed one iteration.

you get some shields but only once. When they're gone, they're gone. You can't use ANY special moves, but the Repair Ship comes down to help you when you get damaged. you're also stuck with the Atomic Railgun, level 1. Although you get extra lives when you score enough points, the Railgun stays at level 1.

Oddly enough, you get the control the united Dragon Head and Dragon Wing, the ships in multiplayer games. You can't separate them, and the gameplay is weird. The revolving cannon turns when you move, making it difficult to aim.
Plus you can "load" a stronger version of the bullets the second ship shoots. You can actually see the "loading level" on the right of the screen, where it SHOULD be on multiplayer. It glitches the status bar.

After the level loops once, the Zeeblex (cyan mines) lose their invincibility. They are very tough, but still beatable, but only after the first loop.
And after like 3-4 loops, pretty much ANY enemy has too much HP for you to handle anyway.

I played around with the Change Music cheat, and with the Change Color cheat.

Difficulty (full level) : Infinity/10 (it loops endlessly!)
Number of attempts (full level) : 1, but I obviously died/gave up at some point, else I'd still be playing today.
