Pixo Image Editor for WordPress

Pixo for WordPress replaces the default image editor with a more powerful one.

Installation is quick and easy. Search for "pixo" in the WordPress Plugins Directory, install Image Editor by Pixo, and activate it.

Pixo Editor, is an online service, and requires registration. After plugin activation, you need to complete the installation process, by registering with your email.

Choose a password, and register.

After registration, Pixo Editor will be fully functional.

Pixo Editor lets you configure the format of the edited images. We recommend the "auto" setting, as this ensures the best image quality at the lowest possible image size. You can also configure the quality for JPEG images.

Speaking about image size, Pixo offers great image compression thanks to TinyPNG. This setting is disabled by default because it slows image export. You can enable it from the plugin settings page.

Now lets upload and edit an image.

Pixo has the same features as WordPress default image editor, and many more. Choose among several Instagram-like image filters.

Add stickers to your images. You can choose stickers from a stock library, or upload custom.

Pixo offers rich text editing tools. Select font face from a great variety of fonts, set size, letter spacing. Choose color, add shadow, text stroke, or highlight.

Choose a photo frame for your images.

Or apply shape.

You can also free draw on top of the image.

You can get back in history in case things go wrong. Every single change can be undo-ed.

When you are happy with your image - save it. The plugin offers a couple of save actions. You can overwrite the image, or save it as a new WordPress media file. In case the image is used in a Post or a custom post type, the changes will not affect it. If you want to also update the image in all posts, there are 2 more save options.

After saving the image, you can always open it back for editing. You will have all the history saved, so you can undo or redo changes, update text, change or remove stickers.

Sessions are kept not only for saved images. Imagine that you edit an image, you like the changes, but you close the editor by accident. Open the image in the editor, and you will be happy to see all your progress being there!

The plugin allows you to bulk edit images. You can bulk edit selected images one after another, or you can use the batch editing, where all changes you make in the first image, are smartly replicated to the rest of the batch.

You can edit an image in Pixo from almost every WordPress dialog that works with images.

And the option to update all references of the image in all posts is great!
