We cover how to get a formula in text form from a cell using the FORMULATEXT function. This function is useful for documentation purposes, especially if your workbook consists of complicated formulae and you want the user viewing it to understand how the values are calculated. We have an amortisation table to the right which shows how the interest and principal change over time.
