Enhance pattern lines for projector sewing

How to modify a sewing pattern PDF for easier projector sewing. Enhance the lines and make them more visible during cutting.

It all still works but these days we enhance the lines with PDFStitcher: https://www.pdfstitcher.org/
Only works for layered files and won't work for raster lines at all but most of the time it's brilliant, you can change the line style, thickness and color precisely and easily.

Start with layered A0 file.
Open your PDF viewer, I use free PDF Studio Viewer but most people use Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Deselect all the layers you don't need.
Print to PDF, pay attention to scale (100%) and paper size (A0).
*If there is no A0 paper size, you may need additional software like free Foxit Reader or cutePDF. It would add many new formats to the system's paper lists that are used in many software products. So there is no need to use Foxit per se for PDF printing, just enough to install it.*
Open in graphic editor, I use GIMP.
Filters - Generic - Erode, this will thicken lines. In Photoshop, use Filters - Others - Minimum.
Colors - Levels, move the input level center slider to the right, that makes lines darker.
File - Export as..., name your PDF and click Export.
*Keep in mind that Erode makes all lines thicker, including text lines*
