Pet Society Database Loading Error Fixes

Some people are still getting errors. You may be missing some vital details. I have outlined a few common mistakes here.

If you can't understand English well and you have a smartphone, I highly recommend using the Google Translate app. This will let you take a picture of the screen and the app will translate. If you us the Google Translate website, you cannot take a picture of the screen.

!!!IMPORTANT!!!
All of your Pet Society files must be in one location.
I recommend you put them all on your desktop in one folder.

BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE YOU MUST open the PROPER MONGOOSE file. The correct mongoose file is in the wwwroot folder. Do not open ANY OTHER FILES before you open mongoose!!!!

Your database files must be on your computer in your "assets" folder. If you have an online website link, it will not work. The URL must be one of your "assets" files. I recommend copying the database I use:
YMtWIOks1W
YMtWI(the letter i)O(the letter O not the number 0)ks1(the number 1)W


Database URL must match in "Database" and "Settings"

Your profile MUST BE a .nofil file. If it is a .psp file it will not work. If you only have a .psp file, you can open it from, "Load from web resoponse (.psp)" Then, save as .nofil. After you save as .nofil, close out the profile and open it again. Then select "Load from File.(.nofil)"

If you do not have a .psp file or a .nofil file, write your email address in the comments section below. I will email you mine.

When you open your files look to the right. Make sure it is listed as a NOFIL file. You do not have to press save! Once you see the blue circle on Database Loaded and Profile Loaded, you are ready.

Hit the START SERVER button on the upper left.

Find your mongoose on the task bar.
Right-click it.
Select Start Browser

If you have all the details correct, this should work for you.
