(Outdated) Tutorial: Downgrading Minecraft Servers

This video is specifically for the VanillaCraft server.

Hello Minecraft and youtube!
This video is way outdated. I used this video to help a bunch of friends who I played with on the same server. They needed help, I had cheap recording software, so I made this video. This was intended for people who actually played with me, so if you are looking at this now, or at any point after the original date it was made, or you didnt play on the same server as me, this is completely obsolete.

Today i will show u how to get the servers working on minecraft
1. First, make sure u downloaded the beta files (most recent update)

2. Then download the downgrader provided by Qustome (link will be in description)

3. Open up the file(Im using Mozilla Firefox so downloading is a little bit different)

*The download should be in the downloads section in your computer

4. Click the downgrader file

5. Then click the downgrader application

6. It will ask you to extract the files (extract them to wherever you like, im gonna extract mine to the download file for easy access)

6. Run the application again

7. Browse for your ".minecraft" file (it should be in your roaming file)

8. Once thats done download the fix file (in the description)

9. Open up the file

10. Go to your "downloads" file or wherever you downloaded the fix

11. Now right click the "bin" file and extract it to your ".minecraft" file (you will have to browse for the .minecraft file again)

12. This is the part that is confusing!!! Watch closely, you will have to keep the file unchanged. Do what i do!

13. You should be able to get on the server with no problem! (If you cant, youve done something wrong) Lets try
