This video explains how to use instanceof operator in Java. In this video, I showed two kinds of examples using the instanceof operator. If we have a class with multiple child class, In some scenarios we need to find out which reference is assigned in the Parent class object. In such a case, we can use instanceof operator in java or instance of keyword in java. There is another scenario, let say you have an interface that implemented with multiple classes. In some situations, if you want to verify which class reference assigned in the Interface type object, in such a situation we can use the java instanceof operator or java instanceof keyword.
