I this android studio tutorial, I will show you how to install an android studio and create your first android app.

Are you ready to create you first android app?
To create you first android studio app you will need to install android studio ide.
Use these link to download android studio https://developer.android.com/studio

Android studio is completely free and available for Windows, Linux, Mac and chrome os.

In this tutorial am using windows to run an android studio but the same procedure should apply to other operating systems.

Once you have successfully downloaded android studio, double click it to install should be that easy.

Once the installation is complete, open it by clicking on it. A new tab will appear with different options.

Select create a new android studio project and choose an empty activity.

Click Finish to create your first android studio project and wait for it complete building the project.

Once the project finishes building, you will see different folders including manifest, layout drawable, java among others which I have explained in the tutorial.

The next thing will be to run your first android app.

Here you will need to create an android emulator or run on a real device. I have shown in the video how to create an emulator.

Once you have an emulator set, now run your app by clicking on the run button. The emulator will start and the app will be installed.

You can change the theme, add activities, or even new items in the activity which I have shown the video.
