Assembled in April of 1982, this Corvette is in extremely nice and very original condition, with just 50,608 documented miles and only ONE OWNER since new! Paint on this car looks to be recent, and is in very nice condition with a deep shine. Original exterior door handles show a good finish with no pitting, although the passenger side has a slightly lazy return spring. Weatherstripping looks to be recent, and is in very good condition; taillights are excellent with no cracks. This 1982 Corvette wears correct slotted aluminum wheels, which are in good condition with very good condition center caps. Mounted to these wheels is a set of nearly new radial raised white letter tires. The interior of this car looks to be nearly all original, including the door panels, seat covers, carpet, center console, dash pad, and steering wheel. There is one small tear on the driver's lower seat cushion; stitching is coming undone on one side of that cushion as well. Otherwise, these original leather seat covers are in very good condition. Original leather steering wheel is tight and in very good condition as well, showing just a few faint cracks at the top of the cover. Carpet is very good with no fading or wear-through, and the original gauges are very good to excellent with zero fading and clear lenses. Dash pad is very good, showing no warping that frequently occurs with these cars; center console is in good condition, and the door panels are in very good condition with strong armrests. An original Delco AM/FM/Cassette is currently installed in this car. Glovebox opens and closes easily, unlike some of these older gloveboxes that don't like to latch. The numbers matching engine in this car shows assembly date March 26, 1982. Ignition shielding, air pump, and even some correct hose clamps are in place. A new Delco compressor has been installed, and the air conditioning blows ICE COLD with an R134a retrofit. Frame is solid and rust-free.
