Preamble
The world is changing very fast: Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, mobile apps, block-chain technologies, even self-driving cars are all possible because of computer programming.
Our phones and Companies like Google, Facebook, Amazon all run on code. We believe everyone should at least learn how computer coding works.
Most people want to learn to code but are not able to make out time.

In the series of lessons coming up, we would be teaching you how to code without all the hassle or all the fluff associated with learning programming.
We would be going straight to the point to show you the basics of what you need to write your own code with little effort.
Now that we are ready to start learning to program, there should be no more delays. There are so many programming languages to choose from but for our course, we would choose Python. or more precisely, Python 3.

This is perhaps the most straightforward computer language currently and learning its basics would make it much easier for us to learn other languages like Java, C++, etc.
There are just a few things required. First of all, we would require a computer. The operating system doesn't really matter because Python is a cross-platform programming language. 
Installing Python 3 alone would enable you to run rudimentary commands but to actually be able to code, you would need an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) editor.
There are many of them available like WING 101, PyCharm, jupyter.
I personally prefer WING 101. Below are links to download them.

If you would prefer another IDE you could just search online for 'Python IDE'.
Once you follow all instructions and complete the installations, you would be ready to write your first program in Lesson One.
