React Native Tutorial Step 34 — Conversations Setup смотреть онлайн

Today, we're setting up our conversations screen. There isn't a lot of work to do here, but copy and pasting (or downloading the files that you get from joining our mailing list). 

TODO #1: Create the conversations folder-containers/Conversation/Conversation and then add the following files (or download them and move them into your project):
- ChatScreenContainer.js
- Conversations.js
- MessageForm.js
- MessageRow.js
- Messages.js

You need to download them as they contain all the code, I won't be sharing them here.

TODO #2: Create the containers/Conversation/component folder and add the following file (download it into your project):
App.js

TODO #3: Changes to router.js and styles.js

So, what's new here? Everything is pretty much the standard what we've been learning up until now. The yellow box on the other hand…

You'll find that when we are doing live-chat via firebase we will be getting a yellow warning box "Setting a timer" error. There is no fix for that as of this writing, so we just add that YellowBox to ignore the error right now (it is due to a firebase issue).

Notice how our ConversationsContainer have both a Conversations and a Messages screen. It's different than the others. The messages screen will not be shown on the drawer, but it is needed because the screen will be pushed when we select a conversation FROM a list of conversations in the conversations screen.

Pretty short tutorial today, a lot of setup (or just downloading files into your project-easy)!
