In this Video I'll cover the steps to create and distribute asset bundles from an http server to an application installed on an oculus device using Addressables. The challenges to Addressables are understanding the build groups and profiles. Selecting the remote build from the Addressable Assets Settings in the Inspector window. Then setting up your remote server paths from the profiles window and selecting your newly created profile from the groups window. Create a group and in the Inspector window we can change the load path and build path for this group.

Now the player and build setting. Set the scripting backend to IL2CPP and tick the ARM64 checkbox. From the Build Settings set the compression method to LZ4HC. Not tested but these settings should work for AR and VR android apps.

The benefits of addressable allows for minor app updates and fixes, as well as, reducing the installation size of the application APK or App Bundle.

The skill level here might be slightly mid to low based on the external and internal steps from oculus. Time about 20 min. In this video I cover the steps to setting up an oculus device and Unity to build and run VR applications. There's also a bonus oculus Go controller setup at the end.
