Besiege | Rope based angular drag generator

This video demonstrates the most basic negative length rope based drag generation system.

I'm not really sure why this works, but it works. I'm assuming the rope somehow applies a weird internal force and (I'd guess it somehow creates angular momentum to the block magically except it doesn't rotate, kind of like a gyroscope. just a guess) which in the end causes lots of angular drag.

Key factors to consider when using
- mass of blocks the ropes attach to, higher mass allows larger negative number in rope, too high of number in rope will cause the block with the rope on it to have uncontrollable vibrations.
- Rotation of rope determines which axis the rotation drag is created in
- (I believe rope length & or scale also effects the power of the drag generation and stability of system, not 100% sure)

Notes:
Both ends of the rope must connect to the same block


This is different from many other examples of "drag" generation.
Similar systems
FBS (Flat Block Stabilizer), similar to flat block stabilizer, it makes it harder to rotate but not impossible, *(note that sideways orientated FBS can still yaw but requiring extreme forces thus making it viable for stabilizing turrets.)

Overflow Nive & Spring based drag generation, similar to these drag generators, it creates a lot of drag out of thin air, but different is that negative-length-rope-based-drag-generators only create angular drag. While Overflow-Nive & Spring drag generators create lots of drag, similar to how a wing panel would but without the lift wings generate.
