Base Building Tutorial | +11 Tips |Miscreated|

This is a base building tutorial updated for patch 1.4.0 or in other words “the base snapping system”. This episode is part of a series I am doing on base building in Miscreated. There will be two other videos that follow this one continuing where I left off in this episode. ⛏Tool Creation for gathering Materials?
There is an option to create tools to gather wood, iron ore, and scrap metal. It’s in the equipment tab on the left side, and the tools tab on the right side in the crafting menu. To create one of these tools you’ll need 1x stick pile, 1x stone, and 1x rope (4 rags). And 1x rags can be crafted from 2x thatch, which are gathered from bushes. This is a fast way to obtain tools for gathering materials. I also highly recommend crafting a fanny pack for an extra 3 inventory slots if you do not have one.

In this episode I will be constructing a two cube base (1x2). This base will have a room with two furnaces to smelt iron ore to iron ingots, and then turn the iron ingots to sheet metal on the workbench. With the sheet metal, I will upgrade the base from wooden to plated; and then the base will be fully protected against melee weapons thus making explosives the only way to do damage to the base. I call this base the 1x2 because it is only one story high, and it has two foundations. The first foundation we make will have storage containers, furnaces, a workbench, and a bed inside to spawn at. And the other foundation will be used as an airlock. The next video in the series will be expanding up to the second story and how to layer the base to make it stronger and less likely to be raided.
