Creating an SVG path animation is easier than you would think. All you need is SVGator, a super easy-to-use animator tool that doesn't require any coding skills. Among other advanced features, it also includes a Path animator that will make it easy for you to create self-drawing and self-erasing SVG animations or simply handwriting effects.

Path animation requires two basic things: an element with a visible stroke-path and the Path animator in the timeline. In case your element isn't a path, this animator will not show up in the Animators' list.

You can convert it to a path element by using the 'Convert to path' option.
