Genshin Impact - Genius Invocation Dump 12

I'm playing Genshin Impact! In this open-world, role-playing gacha game that takes place in Teyvet, the traveler goes on a journey to find their sibling and while doing so, encounters many allies and enemies along the way (boring description but I can't think of anything better to say in one sentence).

Haven't done one of these videos for a while for a few reasons. One reason is that I've just been to occupied with Star Rail and also too lazy to record these videos. But also, there were leaks (and now officially announced) of a new major expansion. Because there is going to be a new expansion soon, many current decks will no longer be optimal. As such, I kind of lost all drive to try to make new and interesting decks, since they could get a lot better next patch. Actually, I even applied for and was allowed to be in a GITCG tournament, but I eventually said that I didn't want to do it, since I wasn't comfortable in my skill in this game, and I also didn't have much time to practice.

I did however prepare a little bit fir the tournament before I called it quits. After looking at meta decks, I realized that I'm not very good at this game (and am still not). My decks have been way too aggressive, which works well against an AI. But against real people, my decks run out of steam too quickly, and usually a good player and deck would completely take over the endgame against me. I also didn't even know how all the cards worked, so I also learned a lot of basics too. Some major things I've picked up is that I should run some healing and shields (so that important characters don't die) and that you should try to condense good turns into one turn (I'm not very good at setting up for future turns).

My three decks I was planning on using in the tournament were netdeck (deck I copied from the internet) Oceanid Electro-charged, Double Hydro Noelle (I showcased this strategy in an earlier video), and the deck I'm using this video. I refined the deck you see in this video to be way more consistent, using cards like Toss-Up and Grand Narukami Shrine to give me more dice to work with. I also added a lot of food for survivability. That being said, I'll likely change up this deck a lot during the next patch, so stay tuned for a hopefully better version of this deck.

The next few GITCG videos will be me testing out the cards of the new patch. I still have many Serious Showdowns and NPC battles yet to be done, so I think I can farm a lot of coins next week to get a bunch of new cards. The next patch is going to be crazy.
