Distributed Computing with .NET Environment and Node

************** Method of installing the system *****************


NOTE:-
Before running the web application make sure to copy paste the
dist and plugin folders inside to the public folder (which is inside the DS_Project_WebClient folder)
dist and plugin folder can be found from this Link :-https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1gTPBel2IGKdUs0fA5a0Mnp9L95M8eakn

Web Client

Step 1 :- Open the project usimg VS code
Step 2 :- Open the integrated terminal
Step 3 :- Go to the DS_Project_WebClient directory
Step 4 :- Then run the command "npm i" to install the libraries
Step 5 :- Then run the command "npm start" to run the web application (frontend)

REST API

Step 1 :- Open another terminal.
Step 2 :- Go to the server directory using the command cd server (from the root directory).
Step 3 :- Then run the command "npm i" to install the libraries.
Step 4 :- The run the command "nodemon" to start the server.
Step 5 :- If every thing works fine the following message will be seen in the console
"Listening to PORT 5000"
"connected to mongo DB"

.NET Remoting

Phase 1 : if you want to execute already build project.(.exe file)
Step 1 :- access to the location "DOT NET Remoting\FireAlarmSystem"
Step 2 :- then go the RemotinSensor/bin/Debug.
Step 3 :- open the .exe file called RemotingServer.
Step 4 :- then go back and browse to the RemotinClient/bin/Debug.
Step 5 :- open the .exe file called RemotingServer.
Step 6 :- go ahead with UI

Phase 2 : if you want to build project again
Step 1 :- access to the location "DOT NET Remoting\FireAlarmSystem"
Step 2 :- Then open the .sln file called "FireAlarmSystem".(it will opend from Visual Studio)
*Visual Studio 2017/2019 Community Edition or upper
*This project include some Async operation.Require C# version is 7.2 or upper.
*Additional .dll file is needed to the from external sources for the asynchronus tasks.(It will already included as references.)
*But in case if that .dll file is not avalibale search via internet "System.Net.Http.Formatting".
*Insert the above .dll file into both Dummy Sensor and FireAlarmService app (add it as a refference to both projects)
*Then build the entire project using "Ctrl + Shift + B".
*If error free follow the steps from 1st phase


Dummy Sensor
Step 1 :- access to the location "DOT NET Remoting\DummySensor"
Step 2 :- then go the DummySensor/bin/Debug.
Step 3 :- open the .exe file called DummySensor.
Step 4 :- go ahead with UI
