This is due to the fact that to maintain maximum linearity it is necessary to provide high value of change in magnetic field when changing distance between sensor and reference point on a moving object.Linear dependence and isolation from the measured current make of linear current sensor an ideal circuit for engine control. Output of the integrated circuit in Hall sensor is proportional to current in conductor; the output linear signal exactly reproduces form of the measured current.It should be noted that linear current sensor determines magnetic field value generated by currents flowing by, but not the current itself. Form of the voltage at Hall sensor output corresponds to measured current's form.Design provides sensor isolation and guarantees normal operation at high current or high voltage.
