What you need

Here is a list of what will be required for you to accomplish this task.
• Working DVD Drive
• Adequate room on your hard drive (Recommend 60gb)
• The operating system install DVDs (For this video windows XP, Vista, and 7)
• EasyBCD
• Optional: External Storage for Back up purposes

Steps

1. Configure your BIOS so CD/DVD Drive is first on the boot priority list.
2. Partition your hard drive.
3. Install the second Operating System onto the new partition.
4. Using EasyBCD, fix the boot file so it recognizes both available operating systems.

Definitions

Multi-Booting: "Multi-boot or Multi-booting is the act of installing multiple operating systems on a computer, and being able to choose which one to boot when starting the computer. The term dual-booting refers to the common configuration of exactly two operating systems."
Boot Order: "The boot order is the order of devices listed in BIOS that the computer will look for operating system information on."
BIOS: "Acronym for basic input/output system, the built-in software that determines what a computer can do without accessing programs from a disk. "
Disk Partitioning: "Disk partitioning is the act of dividing a hard disk drive into multiple logical storage units referred to as partitions, to treat one physical disk drive as if it were multiple disks."
