The scope of PsyntagratioN comes from integrating various fields in contemporary psychology, and other fields of thought, science and art.

Our world, our life, our knowledge and existence, are ever-changing and evolving. Psychology offers many methods of therapy, and yet our world overflows with suffering and bows under much psychological distress, with soaring levels of depression, anxiety, stress, and various other symptoms, disorders, illnesses and abuse.

PsyntegratioN aims at understanding our current situation, as individuals, as a collective, as parts of an ecosystem and the world. This series of videos searches where we come from and where we may be heading. Explores how we can be more happy, more content, feel harmonious and improve our well-being; how we can become more actualized and more integrated.

WHAT’S IN A NAME?
The word 'PSY' comes from the ancient Greek letter opening the word 'Psyche' (our soul, mind, self). 'Integration' is used here in a number of ways, among them the integration of our feelings, emotions and thoughts inside ourselves; the integration of us in our world, society and culture; the integration of the field of psychology with other disciplines, such as social sciences (sociology, anthropology, economics, politics and media), humanities (history, archeology, philosophy, religion, morality) and nature sciences such as physics, biology and cosmology.


This is the first video with a short self introduction and an outline of the road ahead.
