In this chapter you’ll learn to write
functions, which are named blocks of code
that are designed to do one specific job.
When you want to perform a particular task
that you’ve defined in a function, you call the name
of the function responsible for it.

What are Functions?
A Python function is a group of code. To run the code in a function, you must call the function. The aim is to reduce repetition in your code because you can execute the same block of code multiple times over in one program.

Functions are a common feature among all programming languages. They allow you to write blocks of code that perform specific tasks. A function can be executed as many times as you want it to throughout your code.
