Pulling In… Pleasing Playful Positivity,
Putting Away… Panic, Problems, and Pain

Expanding… Ecstatic Enthusiastic Effervescence,
Expelling… Ego and Exhaustion

Activating… Abundant Amazing Awesomeness,
Abolishing… Alienation, Anxiety, and Anger

Creating… Cheery Chirpy Community,
Clearing Away… Cricks and Constriction

Encouraging… Easygoing Euphoric Enjoyment,
Erasing… Emptiness and Exclusion

World Laughter Day, created by Dr. Madan Kataria, founder of the worldwide Laughter Yoga movement, is celebrated annually on the first Sunday of May. We laugh together to send out positive vibrations of unconditional love, laughter, kindness, and compassion. Laughter Yoga, which began in a Mumbai park March 13, 1995 with 5 participants, has now become a worldwide movement with thousands of Laughter Clubs, on all 5 continents, and in over 115 countries. The first "World Laughter Day" gathering took place in Mumbai, India, on 11th of January 1998. 12,000 members from local and international Laughter Clubs joined together in a mega Laughter session.

Laughter Yoga’s mission is to spread Health, happiness, and World Peace through Laughter.

The celebration of World Laughter Day is a positive manifestation for world peace and is intended to build up a global consciousness of brotherhood and friendship through laughter.
