A glass of wine in the quiet glow of the night. Rain begins its slow blues outside the window while somewhere in the distance a lonely saxophone drifts through the dark streets. Smoke curls through the room, candlelight flickers, and the city grows distant behind the sound of falling rain. In these late hours memories return without asking. Old feelings rise quietly, like thunder far away, and the night fills with the soft ache that only the blues can understand. This song lives in that moment between midnight and dawn, when the world grows still, the rain keeps playing its slow rhythm on the rooftops, and the heart listens to everything it tried to forget.

I close my eyes… I think about you.
I want to smoke… a cigarette in my coat.
The dark cloud gives no word, no answer.
Time stands still... The world has lost its note.
While candlelight flickers, softly dancing.

Across the roofs and attics of the lane.
And I alone lie waking till the dawn,
With emptiness and cold that linger on.

My gaze drifts slowly through the shadows on the wall,
I start to feel the truth lives deep in wine.
The window’s open. Дightning cuts through all.
Forgotten feelings stir from darker times.
Smoke tries on the shape of the ceiling air,
The curtain by the window sways so slow.
A single sound... No needless echoes there.
And distant thunder drifts through streams of dreams below.
