ReactJS is one of the most popular frameworks for building Single-Page Applications. Over the years, the framework has been widely adopted by many organizations and development teams.
React is basically a library for building highly interactive user interfaces. The main advantage of React is the easy learning curve plus a plethora of third party packages that can help you build any application that you might have thought about. React also allows you to slowly adopt it over time thereby also letting you migrate your old application in incremental steps.
In this React Beginner series of videos, I will be covering all the important topics that can help you get started with React.
In React Beginner - Part 2, we get our first look at React Components. Components are one of the most important aspects of building React applications. We also get our first taste of JSX or Javascript XML. JSX is the way to describe user interfaces in React and forms the backbone of React along with Components. In this video, we also understand how the React application that we generated in the previous video configured in terms of its component hierarchy.
The things we discuss in this video acts as a very important stepping stone for our future topics.
