Today was split for me between the dealership and website activities.
► Dealership Responsibilities:
On the dealership side, we finished up a few retail jobs for customers. One was on a vehicle we had just sold. The buyer had noticed an intermittent squeak coming from the vehicle that, of course, would not pop up around me or my mechanic. After leaving the vehicle with us, my mechanic--the master that he is--did discover that the spare tire hoist had deteriorated enough that the spare tire had some play. Enough play to occasionally squeak.
Our other customer job was on another vehicle we had sold months ago. She had noticed a transmission fluid type of smell in the vehicle, which we had diagnosed as being power steering related. Check the video for details on what we did.
We got the tires balanced and mounted for another customer job on a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Tomorrow we'll be working on getting the front bumper back on my problematic Honda Odyssey, and tackling what's going on with a new Pacifica I bought at auction
► New Flips:
Speaking of the auction, I picked up some new vehicles Friday and those came in Monday. I'll give you a quick glimpse and rundown of those. ( An 05 Audi A4, the 2008 Ford Escape, '07 Chrysler Pacifica, and a nice, blue 2010 Chevy Equinox )
