Ciara

We LOVE sharing inside the grooming salon with you, so you can see what happens 'behind the scenes', here is the very lovely Ciara who is having her first ever full groom... this is what we @ Spoilt Rotten call their 'transformation groom'. Ciara has sucessfully completed her Puppy Experience Package, and skipped the Junior Package going straight for her full groom which Mum & Dad were very excited for.

Following her previous positive experiences and her A* behaviour she stood perfectly during her groom, with no restraint/ neck strap and proceeded to wag her tail throughout... it got a litle tricky when scissoring her back legs though with her tail wagging... we believe in 'less is more' when it comes to handling dogs, there's no need for various restraining aids, but gentle handling, understanding and building a trusting relationship so the doggy is totally and completely relaxed and happy to just stand and enjoy the pampering...

Ciara is a perfect example of how a usually lively, bouncy, energetic puppy behaves when in the Spoilt Rotten Salon, chilled and taking it in her stride... enjoying every second of her experience...

At Spoilt Rotten our priority is the doggies welfare and happiness... after that we're all about 'style' and setting the trends so the majority of doggies who visit have their legs completely scissored... it's much more technically challenging than just clipping off the coat but extremely rewarding, enjoyable and leaves a noticable difference with the dogs' style and 'walk', they literally look like they're on heals and walking down the cat walk and they LOVE it!!!!
