Our client is one of The Big Four multinational accounting firms in the world. It operates out of 150 countries with over 700 employees. The company offers assurance, tax, advisory and consulting services.

ExistBI was approached to help this global business manage and analyse the vast amounts of Big Data it produces. We took it upon ourselves to gather the requirements on multiple calls, e-mails and agenda amendments to establish the most powerful curriculum for success.

Our Authorized Informatica Training team decided they required a total of 4 days training;

1- day Informatica Developer Tool for Big Data Developers
This course is applicable to software version 10. Learn the mechanics of Data Integration using the Informatica Developer tool for Big Data Development. This course takes you through the key components to develop, configure, and deploy data integration mappings.

3-day Big Data for Developers
This course is applicable to software version 10.1. Discover how to leverage Informatica Big Data Management for the optimization of data warehousing by offloading data processing to Hadoop.

The delegates were training onsite by one of our experienced Informatica and Big Data Scientists, using the licensed Informatica University environment and materials.

And what were the results?

At the end of the Informatica Big Data Management training program, the delegates had gained in-depth knowledge of best practices using this data management tool.

The team were able to extract data, migrate PowerCenter mappings to Big Data Management and ingest data into Hadoop. Migrate and ingest data into Hadoop using SQOOP and SQL for Mapping, they were then able to transform this data and leverage the Informatica Smart Executor. The team could then utilize Informatica and Hadoop monitoring and troubleshooting.
