CPABuild Content Locker Implementation Tutorial ?

In this tutorial, I show you how to implement your own content locker into a custom landing page you might have. In other words, when someone clicks verify now or the button of your choice, your content locker should pop up.

Alright so first off you want to Login to CPABuild
Go to Content Lockers ▶ Code for Website

We’re just going to search the name we gave our content locker last time. For the purpose of this tutorial, I’m going to search for the game content locker we did for fortnite.

Then you’re going to scroll down to sections 2 & 3. Keep this tab open because we will need this information later.

Open up your landing page in atom. You can get it by going to atom.io

First thing I always recommend is to press ctrl+alt+b and what this does is organize the code nicely so its more readable for you.

Once we have everything all beautified, we’re going to press control find and type the less than greater than slash head greater than less than sign.

Essentially, all you are doing is searching your document for the head tag this is the head of your document and scripts need to be put right before the end head tag.So what we did is just told atom to find the end of the head tag. The head tag is the beginning of the html document. This is a place where you can tell your html document to include scripts. For this tutorial, you will put your script right before the end of the head tag.

Now we are ready for section 3 of the CPABuild content locker code. Before we know what we are doing, I need to explain the onclick attribute to you first.

The onclick attribute can be placed on an element. When you click the element, the onclick attribute is used to call your CPA locker function. Easy peasy, right?

So now we know that, we need to search for the exact words used in the button we want to initiate the locker within atom. This is so we can find our element and replace or add the onclick attribute to the button or anchor tag. Once you do that successfully, you should be able to click your button and the content locker should pop up!

You might be wondering, "how can I do this instantly on the page load?" That's easy. All you need to do is call the CPABuildLock() function.

To do this, just copy this code: "CPABuildLock()" and place it right under where you put your first bit of the content locker code in. This code needs to be surrounded in a beginning and end script element so the browser know it's a script.
