Hello,

I am Dr. Jan Hackenberg, developer of the SimpleForest project.
SimpleForest is an open source plugin written in Cpp. It uses
the open source platform Computree.


In this tutorial we will learn how to segment tree clouds out of a
complex forest plot.

I am not part of the development group of computree so I cant make the account for you myself.

Unfortunately, up to date I had no time to update this page. It is the old
homepage which I set up during my phd while working on SimpleTree, the
predecessor of SimpleForest.

I will work to publish the software plugin in a scientific journal in near
future. For now you have to rely on older publications for scientific
reference. My user guide though gives up to date informations about the
underlying algorithms, it is just not peer reviewed.
