Google Pixel Phone | Bootloop FIX? #reflow

In this video I show you how I fixed a bootloop issue on a Google Pixel (first generation). The principles in this video can be applied to other Android phones and tablets that have a bootloop issue.

***WARNING - IF the reflow gets your phone started, take the opportunity to back up all your files because you don't know how long the memory chip is going to last. Sometimes the chip may last one day, one week, one month, or one year.

***Potential software fixes: 1. press and hold power for 30 seconds with the phone unplugged to a power source. Then plug in the phone and press the power button again for 30 seconds. 2. Try to hard reset the phone through the Android Bootloader Menu. turn off phone, press and hold power + vol down, use volume keys to find the "recovery" option press power button to select recovery, in the next screen press and hold power then press vol up. IF you cannot enter recovery, your storage chip has failed.

To clean up flux after I'm done, first I wipe off the flux with a tissue paper and then I use a Q-tip dipped in alcohol. It is not necessary to clean up flux IF you use No-clean flux.

Phones made after 2016 have changed from EMMC storage chips to UFS storage chips. From the outside the chip looks the same and it still uses BGA 153.
