An arrow function expression is a compact alternative to a traditional function expression, but is limited and can't be used in all situations. Arrow functions were introduced in ES6. Arrow functions allow us to write shorter function syntax:
Differences & Limitations:
1. Does not have its own bindings to this or super, and should not be used as a method.
2. Does not have new.target keyword.
3. Not suitable for the call, apply, and bind methods, which generally rely on establishing a scope.
4. Can not be used as constructors.
5. Can not use yield, within its body.
JavaScript is a lightweight, interpreted programming language. It is designed for creating network-centric applications. It is complementary to and integrated with Java. JavaScript is very easy to implement because it is integrated with HTML. It is open and cross-platform. Javascript is a MUST for students and working professionals to become great Software Engineers especially when they are working in Web Development Domain.
