Search the internet for a solution to ants, slugs & snails - and in a matter of minutes you'll find someone testifying to the efficacy of using cornmeal, and how it makes these all of these creatures "explode" if they eat it. Sounds a bit far fetched to me - and this was also the case for my podcast guest Robert Pavlis. who is the author of "Gardening Myths" 1&2, and a Master Gardener with a background in biochemistry.
