On October 22, 2023, the session was conducted (Onsite at UIT University, Karachi and Online via Zoom) by Mr. Waqas Ali, Chief Data Scientist at Habibi Group of Companies and Executive Director at DigiTech Synergy Private Limited. The training centered around the following subjects:

1. A typical function follows a pattern: it takes an input, processes that input, and returns an output.
2. Python offers built-in functions such as int(), float(), str(), len(), and print(), as well as user-defined functions.
3. The structure of a function includes a header (with the def statement), a body, and a return statement.
4. Input variables in functions are referred to as parameters, while the values they take during execution are called arguments.
5. For instance, in "def convert_amount(exchange_rate)," exchange_rate is a parameter, and in "convert_amount(exchange_rate=0.2)," 0.2 is an argument for the parameter exchange_rate.
6. Arguments passed by name are called keyword arguments, with the parameter name being associated with the argument.
7. The order of keyword arguments does not affect the function's behavior.
8. Arguments passed by position are called positional arguments, and their order in the function call matters.
9. Debugging more complex functions may be challenging, but you can identify issues by examining the traceback.
