Combine the power of WordPress for managing your content, with Bootstrap, for great web design and User experience. This class takes you from setting up a Bootstrap ready Wordpress project to learning design principles with Bootstrap and using Advanced Custom Fields to connect the two, in a very small amount of time.

It's about learning how to create your own professional designs, empowering you to create the websites and themes you really want to create instead of being limited by difficult to understand the code.

To do this, we will use a well-maintained starter theme with Bootstrap integrated, as well as a great plugin that allows us to extend the WordPress custom fields, to create more intuitive and bespoke designs, easily, once you get the hang of it. The learning curve is quick, and all you have to do is follow the steps, and you will be creating something of your own in no time!

What you will create

We are going to create a functional landing page WordPress theme! Yup, that's right.

A landing page with the following

Header hero sections for our product image and Call to action
Features section displaying 3 features of our example software product.
A Prime Features section that lists the core benefits, with font awesome icons.
Price section with the two packages we offer. A nice sleep design for price boxes.
Contact us section with contact form seven, ACF and Bootstrap integration, nice.
Footer section where we style our footer.
We have a fully functional landing page WordPress theme!

This is what you will learn.

You will learn how to create your own Wordpress theme easily.
You will learn how to create layouts with Advanced Custom Fields, such as the Flexible Content field, the Repeater field and plugging-in the BootStrap grid and classes, bringing it to life.
You will learn how to create templates and partial template files and how to link them to our Advanced Custom Fields, cutting down hours of work and producing cleaner code.
You will learn how to work with Bootstrap components and utilities to produce a truly flexible and bespoke design.
