Get Crypto Price Data In Python Using Automated Selenium Bot
Tired of having to get your crypto data from the newspaper? Well here's the code for an automated bot that scrapes cryptocurrency price data in python.

It can be used on all different types of cryptos and even DAOs that have time series for all your data analysis needs.
The set up includes creating an Investing.com account, downloading Google ChromeDriver, adding ChromeDriver.exe to your PATH, and installing selenium to your python environment.
Creating the bot is just a simple class in python that calls on the ChromeDriver and interacts with the webpage using the DOM / inspector.
Lastly, the file that you downloaded will need some cleaning up. So, python pandas is super helpful for dropping columns, converting data types, and reformatting data.
Once everything is all cleaned up, you have time series that can be used for backtesting and data analysis!
