http://studiomediacam.com Wordpress There's a customize tab under your Twenty Twelve Theme in the Manage Themes page. You can also use the Dashboard menu but the Customize Tab is easy and conventient.
1. Click Customize under the Theme in the Manage Themes part of the Dashboard
2. You'll see a box open on the left to customize these parts of the site:
1. site title and tagline
2. Display header text or not, put a check in the box to display it
3. Background color for the site, note: to keep it easy to read for visitors using mobile devices with small screens leave the background light colored and plain
4. Header Image - click to browse and upload a header image
5. Background image - click to upload a background image but remember if visitors are using smartphones which have small screens then it's best to keep the site looking clean, uncluttered
6. Navigation - If you have custom menus you want to use for the horizontal menu bar across the top or in a sidebar you can choose your titled custom menu here. If you haven't made a custom menu yet please see the tutorial I made on how to do that.
7. Static Front Page - This tab in the custom menu choices allows you to choose a homepage that will stay the same which is diffrerent from a blog page because the blog shows the most recent blog post or article that has been added. Note: homepage templates are available in the post or page screens. You can choose a homepage template that is the default, which has sidebars, or choose one of the other choices that does not have sidebars. You can have a homepage without sidebars but with a menu that takes visitors to the blog pages and the blog pages can then have sidebars with your widgets.
