SolidWorks Fluid Flow Analysis

For a course at Louisiana Tech University, we were required to create a non-trivial model and conduct an analysis using a SolidWorks feature not previously shown in class. At the end of the course, we were required to present our findings. We decided to go with fluid flow analysis for this project.
After a lot of discussion and trying out different models, we came to the conclusion that a heat exchanger would be the best choice. After the presentation, a few people wanted to know if the model was actually constructed by us, or we found it from a third party or online. While we did use online sources to determine what our options were and looked at references on how to conduct a fluid flow analysis, the model is completely constructed by us.
Based on the fluid flow analysis we conducted, we were able to determine all the issues associated with the model's design. If given more time, we would be able to easily implement the changes we suggested and re-run the model. This showed that we had a good understanding of the information SolidWorks provided and how it could be used to improve a design.

All in all, this video was made strictly for the fun of video editing. During school, I needed my computer to run much heavier programs and could not spend time importing multiple hours of video to be edited.

This video displays the power that SolidWorks has and how it could be used to analysis complex systems and provide solutions to problems that are hard to solely visualize.
