Application Programming Interface (API) | What is an API | How API works with real-time examples

API stands for Application Programming Interface is the backbone for any applications developed with the Modern web architecture. Almost all applications use API's and we are consuming and using API's daily knowingly or unknowingly.

In this video, we will learn from the basics to the implementation of API. It contains the brief description about how the weather station can be build by consuming Google Location API and OpenWeatherMap API.

In the Weather station application, I have consumed Google Location API and OpenWeatherMap API. I said localweathermap instead of openweathermap and in the initial part of the video, I have said that I have consumed only Google maps API. Apologies for the mistake.
