Now she wants arrange these coins in ascending order. She was thinking for a solution to do this. Now she went to her friend chandler to ask his help. Chandler and Monica together came up with a solution called selection sort.
The algorithm divides the coins into two parts: a sorted sublist of coins which is built up from left to right at the front (left) of the list and a sublist of the remaining unsorted coins that occupy the rest of the list. Initially, the sorted sublist is empty and the unsorted sublist is the entire coins list. The algorithm proceeds by finding the smallest element in the unsorted sublist, exchanging (swapping) it with the leftmost unsorted element , and moving the sublist boundaries one element to the right. This process is continued until all the coins list is sorted. So they started working on this process.
