Like most people in the entertainment and event industry, I lost my job. I really wanted to feel a sense of connection with friends that I couldn’t see in person. So my friend Collin and I figured out a way to jam online. After days of testing different ways of jamming we found out the best way to do it was using MIDI to trigger virtual instruments simultaneously. The latency is far superior to sending audio because it’s already digital information. The sound quality is so much better than sending audio too.

I can’t thank Collin enough for the help and for being a great friend during these times. He did all the animations, testing, troubleshooting, etc. He was also a great sport about the PC jokes. I don’t have anything against PC’s. I think they’re great. Guys just give each other a hard time for fun, so please don’t take it personally.

We really didn’t have to work so hard to share this but we just wanted people to experience this for themselves. It really is a ton of fun and works better than I ever could have hoped.
