In this tutorial we will talk about constants,Variables and keywords in Java.
Variable is a name of a memory location.Each variable has a name and type. Type of the variable tells us about the type of information that is stored at that memory location for eg: if its a integer, float, double, boolean etc. Depending on that we have different data types in java like int,double,float,boolean,string etc. Before we use a variable in java, we need to declare that variable.
Variable are of three types: local variable, instance variable or the static variable. Local variable is a variable that is declared inside a method.Instance variable is the variable that is declared inside the class but outside of any method. Each object of the class will have its own copy of the instance variable. If you don't initialize the instance variable, they get a default value for eg: int will get a value of 0, float and double will get a default value of 0.0, String will get a default value of null, and boolean will get a default value of false.
Constants in java is whose value can not be changed. Keywords in Java are the reserved words which have special meaning and they can not be used as a variable name for eg : do, class,while,for,if .
