Welcome to a video tutorial on how to create a KML File in Google Earth. Google Earth allows you to create a KML file very easily. KML files can be created for different purposes; in this video, you will learn how to create a KML file for the purpose of creating a drawing file.

Open Google Earth and Navigate to positions for which you want to create a drawing file. Click on Add Path Icon on the toolbar.

Google Earth – New Path window will appear. Move the window to one of the corners of the screen and then go ahead and trace the path, by clicking the points along the path to be traced. Now come back to the New Path window and give a Name and Click on OK. You can note that a New node is created with the specified name in the Places group. Now you can right-click on the newly created place and save it as a KML We have created KML by selecting “Add Path” Icon, in the similar lines we can create KML by selecting “Add Polygon” or “Add Placemark” also.
