Hi, I'm Fuji. I received customer information like names, phone numbers, and email addresses from Google Forms. I want to convert this information into custom fields for WordPress users. Here's how to do it.

First, it's hard to connect Google Forms and WordPress directly. So, we'll use Google Sheets as a bridge. Create a sample form in Google Forms and link it to a Google Sheet. When you get a new response in Google Forms, it will automatically update the linked Google Sheet.

To automate adding new users to WordPress, we'll use TaskMagic. First, open the WordPress login page and copy the URL. In TaskMagic, create an automation process for logging in. After logging in, you'll see the page for adding new users.

Now, we need to link TaskMagic with the Google Sheet containing user information. Click "Setup Trigger" and select "Loop." Enter the URL of your Google Sheet and select the worksheet. The header information will be read automatically.

Choose which line to start automating from (usually line 2). Enter how many times you want to loop based on the number of data entries.

Next, replace the sample data with data from the Google Sheet. For each field (username, email address, etc.), select the corresponding cell in the Google Sheet.

Once everything is set up correctly, TaskMagic will automatically add new users to WordPress based on the information in your Google Sheet.

In step 11, I want to use the email address from the Google Sheet. So, I'll choose "add email address" and save it. I'll also write the name and click the user name in steps 9 and 10. Next, I'll delete the sample data and set the phone number from the Google Sheet.

Now, I'll set a loop for steps 7 to 18 to repeat six times since there are six data entries. However, there's a warning when running this automation. The first attempt will fail, and I'll show you why.

After logging in with your username and password, you'll go to the user add-on page. The failure happens when adding a username because a space is automatically added before it. This causes an error when trying to save the username in WordPress.

To fix this issue, I added JavaScript code after step 9 to remove the extra space. By using this code, the error disappears when adding Google Sheet data to WordPress.

Here's a successful run: log in, add a user, and check that the username, email address, name, and phone number are inserted correctly. The JavaScript processes the space, allowing you to add users without any problems.

I'm not sure why the space is added automatically, but using this JavaScript method solves the issue. I plan to report this problem to TaskMagic while showing them this video as evidence.

In summary, you can connect a Google Form and Sheet to automatically add spreadsheet data using TaskMagic automation. Keep in mind that an extra space may be added when automating usernames; use custom JavaScript code after entering the username to fix this issue.
